What Are Tailored Formulations?
Tailored formulations refer to the custom development of coated fabrics, designed by adjusting one or more components in the coating process. This can include:
- The base material (basecloth or backer)
- The PVC paste formulation
- The surface finish or emboss
- Additional protective lacquers or performance enhancers
This allows us to match your functional, regulatory, environmental, and visual requirements precisely.

1. Base Material Selection
Choose the right basecloth (Direct Coating) or backer (Transfer Coating) to meet your desired strength, flexibility, or dimensional stability.
Options Include:
- Polyester yarns in various DTex and weave patterns
- Woven, knitted, or non-woven backers
- High-stretch or non-stretch applications

2. PVC Paste Formulation
We can reformulate the PVC paste to modify key properties:
