Neucoat is built on over 100 years of combined expertise through the legacy of its founding partners — Beier Industries, established in 1962, and Erez Thermoplastics, established in 1982. While the name Neucoat was formally introduced in 2020 following a change in ownership structure, the company represents a long-standing heritage of innovation in coating technology, polymer chemistry, and advanced manufacturing.
Formed through a strategic partnership between Beier, a respected South African manufacturing group, and Erez, a global leader in engineered polymer solutions, Neucoat brings together deep local capabilities and international technical excellence.
Neucoat is proudly the only company in its industry in South Africa with a dedicated research and development laboratory, equipped with QUV weathering testers and other advanced quality assurance technologies. This allows us to rigorously test, validate, and continuously improve the performance of our coated fabrics under real-world conditions.
Neucoat’s high-performance materials are manufactured at our facility in Durban, South Africa, and exported globally to clients in Australia, North America, Europe, and across Africa. Our location near the Port of Durban — Africa’s busiest general cargo terminal — enables fast, reliable shipping and logistics for both local and international clients.
